Thanks for summarizing again and adding to the information. Providers like Google add new capabilities to their product roadmap. You are a valuable resource in Colorado's Quantum ecosystem.

Google’s news has really shaken the market. Its shifted the votes away from superconducting to quite a high degree. We are still watching how companies re-rank according to this news.

Re: your Breakout Contender, Atom Computing, it may be worth noting that they got the deal to build Denmark's national, 1,200+ qubit computer, called Magne. And not at a bargain basement price, either, with the full project costing €80 million.

While some of the communication on this project may be hype, like having the world's most powerful quantum computer by the new year (2026/27), the Danes might be onto something here. They are, after all, a physics superpower and took years to deliberate which way they wanted to go with their money.

Thanks Matt! I'm aware of Atom's Denmark presence and of the national QC award, although either didn't realize or forgot the magnitude of that contract which is quite significant. I'm also impressed with the Dane's quantum credentials so it says a lot that they selected neutral-atom, and Atom Computing in particular. Appreciate the feedback and glad you enjoyed the post. Trapped Ions are on deck next.

They had a kick-off of that Magne project a couple of months ago, where they showed off a use case that looked so interesting, I dug into it. Then I realized that this fertilizer use case was the favorite of many for quantum chemistry nowadays.
